When I read in Exodus God presents Himself as "I Am That I Am", I had to ponder it for a while. What did God mean by it? Out of all names to give Himself why that one? Well, through the years of reading the Bible, I have realized that God truly is everything and can be found in all creation. Everything that I've ever needed I have found in Him. He is, "I Am". He is all and in all. Creation exists in Him.
I am Everything. I am Always. I am Forever. I am Neverending. I am the Breath you breathe. I am the Joy you sing. I am the Strength in your knees. I am Alpha and Omega. I am Beginning and End. I am He. I am the First. I am the Last. I am the Heavens and the Earth. I am Life. I am Love. I am War. I am Sorrow. I am Rightousness. I am Forgiveness. I am Knowledge. I am Wisdom. I am the Mystery. I Am in you. I Am for you. I Am That I Am. There are no others besides Me. I am All in All. I Am God.
Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM THAT I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” Exodus 3:13-14
